Maria Sunde
Maria Sunde is a 35 years old teacher with HR consultant education and a love for mountaineering. She has comprehensive experience with organising people and activities, and is our mountain hike expert.
She is born and raised in this postcard landscape and has thousand of hours in the nature around Skei.
To finish off her extensive education portfolio she is currently finishing a Master in Sports Science.
In addition to GING’s Norwegian and English language skills, Maria can speak and guide in German.
Helga Fjellstad
Helga Fjellstad is 31 years old and moved to Skei from Oslo because of the nature and the endless opportunities in the mountains.
She now resides permanently at Skei with her family.
Helga is Girls in Nature’s glacier and ski guide, and she’ll guide you safely on the Haugabreen Glacier, the Flatbreen Glacier and the Nigardsbreen Glacier.
She works locally as a teacher, has a bachelor’s degree in law, and loves all kinds of mountaineering. She even wrote her master’s thesis on the mountaineering women of Norway.
