Hamnanova is a beginner-intermediate hike with a grand view!

From the Dvergsdalsdalen Valley this mountain hike starts at 400 masl. The elevation of this hike is approximately 300 metres and 1,3 kilometres in distance.

The trail starts through an idyllic spruce forest and continues on a man built pathway that brings you closer to the panorama view of Hamnanova.

Here you can see the majestetic Grovanova and Kjøsnesfjorden on your right, downtown Skei straight ahead and Jølstravatnet lake towards Førde on your left.

On the top there is an open cabin that everyone can enter, for a rest, shelter or to look at photos with local history.

There are also outdoor benches and a fire pan, and plenty of possibilities to enjoy the beautiful scenery and grand views.

The hike has several options for roundtrips and longer mountain hikes to other view points if you want to extend this trip.
